news on ryan's ep:

-in december it charted at CIUT 89.5 FM in toronto. music for car commercials made it up to #31 on the station's Top 40!

-the record has received really positive reviews in the montreal mirror, the mcgill daily, scene magazine (london, ontario), wrankmusic.com, rockzillaworld magazine, the huron college grapevine and others. every one who hears it thinks it's really cool. seriously!

-ryan's record has become a cult favorite at mcgill university here in montreal, canada. and since montreal is now officially 'cool' according to spin and the new york times, you should check out indie-rock from a label at the source!

-the buzz is really starting to come together for music for car commercials, so much so that even the UK press has shown interest in the record! and we all know what happens when the brits get involved... ryan'll be on the cover of NME (with the typical NME headline: "best. artist. ever.") next year at this time. just kidding, of course (uh, of course...)

-music for car commercials is now available at cheap thrills and esoterik, both record stores located in downtown montreal.
